Hi guys

What would a e30 m3 on 1989 be worth with a s50b30 engine with a rotrex supercharger?

I know someone that might sell one, but dont know what its worth.

The only thing is, i have been in one with a 3.2 engine conversion and it just spins up to 3rd gear!

Would i feel a big difference in power on the road?

Any help appreciated, dont want to pay over the odds, and worried about resale as its not original.

About £11k or more, if it's in decent condition.

depends on so many things such as how well the conversion has been done, condition of the car etc etc

so I'd say anywhere from £8K for a snotter upto £15K+

yes i have one, but its had few nice changes such as cecotto trim, no more cage now :)

oh, and bbs rs2 splits.

i was thinking of buying a supercharged version, however its really hard to get power down as is, so prabably pointless.

i would think it would be worth around 15k min for supercharged version.

a standard e30 fetches 8-11k so surely it would cost a lot more

it depends on how the car is set up, i dont think there should be any real probmems gettinig power down but it depends on your drivinig style, i know of one example that is very well set up, and it will not spin up unless you ask it to or drive in a very very agressive manner and "launch it" at 7000rpm

value wise, it depends on seller/buyer.

at the end of the day they are bastardised.
original e30 M3's in very good condition will be more valuable than a very clean modified car with non original engine

modifications (suspension up gardes/brakes etc) are hardly ever reflected in re sale value, just add small premium normally
