Do you mean Dicko ric.
The actual power was 178.4 @5564 rpm
Torque 178.6 lb ft @4801
The man doing the dyno said it was running a bit lean and recommend a new
fuel pump and filter .
See what you are saying, that's not too far from a standard E30 325i, is it?

i cant remember the name of the english company that was going to supply me a low mileage nissan 2.5 twin turbo engine and box, with guarantee, possibly fensport or something similar. iirc it was around £1800. they are well known in the jap world and possibly easier to deal with than a supplier from thailand if theres any problem.
i had to shelf that idea when no one would insure me for that conversion at a sensible price.

A 7M swap out of the MK3 Supra has been in my mind for a couple of years now and was what I first intended to do with the touring when I got it. But the M50 came up cheap (subsequently biting me in the arse) and I though for my first engine conversion the M50 would be more plug & play.ric325i wrote:beemerlad you must be having thought about this swap now the mayo has taken over your m50did you see the other zoner witha non vanos producer about 171bhp on the rollers? bit gutted.
I'll see how I get on with it, it probably won't feel quick enough after a few weeks and I then either decide to turbo the M50 or start seeking out the right Toyota mill. Could do with someone rear ending my brother's supra

Just thought I'd give this topic a kick to say that if anyone is thinking about ordering a kit from K-conversions, give my topic on Driftworks a quick read. I was suckered in by his seemingly good reputation when he used to tune engines here in the UK, his 100% feedback on his ebay accounts and how seemed to really know what he was talking about and had some good experience - sadly what has arrived is significantly different from what I paid for, and has turned out to be a rather costly mistake:

I'm posting this so that others don't make the same mistake I have, so please keep all "serves you right for buying rice" comments to a minimum, I know I should've bought an S50
