i think the car its self was fine but the looks were not ///M enough! this AC e36 should have been the std M3 then people would have been able to tell an e36 ///M from a e36 sport (like the E30) i know its all in the past now but saw this pic and thought i would voice my thoughts! and see what other people think of them!

I reckon the car could do with the e36 m3 front, as otherwise it just looks like a normal e36 but with bulked up wings

That white one with the bubble arches is lovely.
The CLS could do with the bubble arches too. I think it suits it.

Horrid. That green one looks like it's got Mark 1 Vectra arches grafted on. E36's just don't suit boxy arches.

Definately wouldn't have the green one, agreed. I definately like the looks of the white E36 with the bubble arches though.

the white one i said above, i think would have been a smoother transition from e30 to e36 due to its inkeeping fat arches some one who knew the e30m3 would havet twigged strait away if the white one above was the std m3. as what i hate with the e36 range is that you could have a tidy 316i coupe slap the m bits on and a badge and without it runnung no one knows really wheather its the real deal or not! this would be alot harder to make a replica like the e30 was and the e46 too to a point.

that's quite close looking to the mtec front bumper/spoiler. maybe needs the little black lip on it though. i much prefer the proper m3 mirrors too.

Im sure they were originally going to call it the 330 (pre evo) because it wasn't 'M' enough, it was a fast coupe rather than the proper replacement to the E30....have no idea where it came from though??
