Hi all, Does anyone know what the 0-60 time of a standard high compression m20 2.5 4 door is please? Maybe a vid of anyone doing it would be cool :D Modders welcome for the vid part :cool:

My owner's handbook doesn't differentiate between 2 doors and 4 doors. 8.3 seconds for a 1989 model manual 325i. The 2 door is listed as being 20 kilos lighter. Another source lists Australian delivered vehicles for that year as having a time of 8.6 seconds, again with difference between 2 and 4 doors being zip.

I iimagine the older cars would be a tad quicker.

This is, of course, assuming we time travel back to the 80s when these cars were fresh. :)

Just consulted a copy of November 1986 of Performance Car magazine. Nothing for a 4dr but this will be for a 2dr early high comp car and the stats are

0-60 7.2
Max MPH - 131

All tests for this magazine were performed with a full tank of fuel and a crew of 2.
