despite the freezing weather this weekend I gave the car a quick spruce up while the weather was (reasonably!) good. Just a quick wash really as it has enough wax on it to see it through the winter. Excuse the crap photography, weather was very dull and foggy!

Lenso BBS RS reps have been replaced with the original alloys for the winter. Still looking pretty smart after the aerosol refurb almost 3 years ago:

Thanks. After just over 3 years of ownership and adding another 43,000 miles to it I still enjoy it!

Looks sweet mate  Why don't you try and get along to the next meet just up near the A1/M62 junction (called 'Milkbar Meet' in the events section)?

Thanks. I've been toying with the idea of some SE skirts for a while but I like it as it is.

Matt, did you hand-sand the wheels before you painted them or did you have them sand blasted? I'm very impressed with the finish.

Thanks Dan.

Just plenty of hand sanding using both medium-fine sandpaper and finishing off with a Scotchbrite Pad (I'm sure they're available from most motor factors/DIY stores). I've just about got my fingerprints back lol!

Ahh, I see. The centres on mine look ok and they don't have any kurbing but there are a few spots on the rim/lip where the paint has lifted and corrosion has started.

I like that alot!

Are they just tips on your exhaust, or a different back box? Really suits the car!

Thanks. The exhaust tips are a trim piece (from Halfords believe it or not!) welded onto the standard exhaust.

I had a stainless steel system made up not so long ago but it's a tad too loud for my daily commute so I've decided to put it up for sale and reverted back to a standard one.

I was running on some Lenso BSX wheels (BBS RS reps) over the summer but have taken them off for the winter to stop the salt from destroying the polished edge!

Cheers! Yep, original paint except the top half of the driver's rear quarter (paint had gone a little thin in that area when I bought it).
