hi guys
my brother in law has an 325i g reg
with no heat
i tryed bleeding no joy
changed thermostate no joy
removed thermostate no joy
checked pipes going to matrix both hot
when i turn the knob on the dash from hot to cold
i can feel that its pulling somthing
so i presume thats working

anything i missed?

yeah, sounds more like the valve, coz both the pipes on the matrix are hot..

IIRC this valve is powered closed so to make it perminantly open you simply need to un-plug it, its on the passenger side in the footwell i think.

Check that the heater hoses under the bonnet are on the stub pipes the correct way around.

i swapped the hoses round and i have heat
but im sure he had heat before

anyway sorted now i think
