how can u tell what diff

been given diff.told it's a lsd off of a 325 sport how can i tell if it's the real deal?

Can you read the whats stamped on the tag on the back?

If its an LSD hold one output shaft and turn the other, if one turns freely its an open diff (non LSD) if both turn together then its an LSD
