E46 M3 (was close.)
Astra VXR, (again too easy)
Megane 225 (see above)
Porsche 911 (996) carrera 2 (Not a win as such but i dont think he expected to see me on his tail at 140mph!)
Demlot was surprised when i passed him like he was standing still while he was doing 140 in his S14 iS (which has a calibrated speedo!).
Ant and Oz will confirm this as they were my passengers at the time!
Thank you, for the nice comment mate. Yes it has schnitzer stripes, as well, as the hole ac schnitzer package for the outside that has been offered for e30. I'm only missing ac schnitzer mirrors, but I bought DTM ones, that would go on the care30bmlover wrote: ah! i see we have taste! i see schnitzer stripes...
Not being funny but was the fella in the E46 M3 trying?bss325i wrote:Mini Cooper S (that was too easy!)e30bmlover wrote:i bet its @ucking quick! does it have enough to take out fuzzys ford engine!?!?!bss325i wrote:My S50 has taken out a few "performance" cars.

e46 m3's arent as fast as you think....i was very close to one (10-15 metres)from a standing traffic light start right upto 120 when we ran out of road and again that was stage 1 tune(282bhp)
S50 mate not M50! 13.9 @ the pod with loads of wheel spin, E46 M3's were doing similar times.barryj wrote:Not being funny but was the fella in the E46 M3 trying?bss325i wrote:Mini Cooper S (that was too easy!)e30bmlover wrote: i bet its @ucking quick! does it have enough to take out fuzzys ford engine!?!?!

Its all about power to weight ratio.
E46's are lardy.

Yes it's 24v 192 bhp stock
Yes it's 24v 192 bhp stock
M50 is 24V and came in 2.0 and 2.5hubble wrote:Would I be right in saying an M50 is a 24v engine? and what capacity would that be a standard 3.5?
M52 is also 24V and came in 2.5 and 2.8.
3.5 was an M30 or M60 V8.

I think 500 was the figure he mentioned previously. It's a mental old beasty.

they do look right at home in the E30 'bay

Here is a video of e30 with m54b30 engine, drag racing with e46 m3. The 3.0 litre engine in the e30 makes 230hp, and by the way it stays next to the e46, I'm pretty sure an e30 with S52 would be a lot faster than e46 m3.

The whole car needs spraying. This is on the list for things to do next summer. I don't have type 1's, I'm not a really big fan of them, but I will be getting some 16" rims, because bigger brakes would be going on the car too. I have a 4 spoke schnitzer steering wheel yes, but I'm not using it, because currently on the car there is 350mm OMP Suede one. Shoot me a msg with a price if you're willing to sell your mirrorse30bmlover wrote: as do i!! the kit needs spraying though.. do you have the 16'' type 1's?? i have a set of mirrors on hold as well as a strut brace, do you have the steering wheel?

Afterall apparently there is nothing you can do to an e30 to beat an out the box quick car
