Nope. It had problems.Alex wrote:your joking riteCloud wrote:My old 320i would do about 12 on a tenner's fuel, maybe 14 or 15 at current prices.
Even with the 62ltr tank, I couldn't get from Exeter to Bristol (79 miles) without filling it up.

I bought a 325i, at cost of more than two and a half grand, since it was the cheaper option.
so you get what you pay for really.

Wouldn't know, Its one of my bug bears actually watching people (or more rightly queue behind) people who put in anything less than £20!
Always puts me off a for sale car too if the dash photos show petrol needle in the red, if the owner is too tight to pop in a good few quid for test drives and alike then what else have they skimped on.
And yes my car also sports a 12 month tax disc.

That boils my p155 too.march109 wrote:Wouldn't know, Its one of my bug bears actually watching people (or more rightly queue behind) people who put in anything less than £20!
Even though I rarely run on petrol, I always put 5 gallons in.
TBH, the whole "How far can you get on a tenner?" thing annoys me. Only putting small amounts of fuel in is false economy. It's certainly no way to calculate fuel consumption.

I rarely put anything less than 1/2 tank in but cant put more than 50 litres in, as the o-rings that seal the pump are cracked and leak if i fill the tank. I'm reeeet council I am (althought i have just spent £130odd quid on practically nothing at my local stealers, so I'm not ALL council!) It's on my list of things to do on my week off anyway!
