i have starterd runnin into a lot of trouble, rumblings through the seat when you blip the throttle, juddering at 2k cruisin, the central locking has packed up, the diff rumbles like a bitch when you have held any speed up for more than two minutes and i got a good hole in the bulkhead just under the master cylinder!!
so i have decided to take it off the road and begin my first ever full strip down and rebuild, now my main goals are reliability, performance and handling, and lookin damn sexy!
the advice i seek is what would be the best combination of diff and gearbox for the quickest acceleration. erm, are there any nice and cheap big brake upgrades you can get out there, and what else would anyone advise to do while i have got the engine out and everything set out neatly on the floor. with the diff off and painting everything i can!
would be most grateful of any help, its gonna take a few months, but thats cause i wanna do it all right, and if anyone is trying to sell anything like a performance gear box, clutch or fancy bits, then let me know, i could be very interested!
cheers again guys!
advice on the best route to a damn nice E30!!!!

What model do you own?
As for the brakes, wilwood are what I'm going for! http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/pr ... ts_id=3912
