Hello,

Can anyone help?

I have a small fuel leak on my 1986 325i, the leak is only on one injector where it goes into the head. Does anyone know whether are you able to buy new injector seals or do you have to replace the injector itself?

Thanks.....

Seals on injectors are pretty universal, they are of the round variety. They are only pennies to buy.

You can get them from BMW. They are about Ԛ£1.40 or something each. I needed one as I split the edge off one when putting mine back together.

Dip your finger in the oil filler cap and give the new seals a rub over with engine oil before you squeeze them back into the manifold and fuel rail it makes it a lot easier.

MartinAston is right. If you dont get some oil on the seal it wont sit right and will leak, it could even damage the seal. 8O
