the engine was fitted to a 320i , plugged it all in , got power to the starter , alternator , relays so on got ignition lights , but it wont turn over , given up tonight as its getting cold ,

hi can anyone help with wiring diagrams for the s50 3.0 m3 engine i have just fitted to my m3 shell ?

Did it have the EWS imobiliser system removed when the conversion was done to the 320i?

Not all of the 3.0l S50's had EWS Barry

went out in the cold again and bridged the starter to make sure its ok , it spins fine but is not kicking in so i will have to take it out and have a look at the bendix

Shouldnt be difficult to sort out then if its a pre EWS
