magpie, yeah I have 6 and broken more IS' than you've owned e30's! I think one of each works well and engine swops included.. best out the range? m50 and s14 power
and most definately M3 suspension

ive got my eye on a blue chromie 316 at the end of my street, owner by "Older People" the car is possible in better nick that that one about its MINT, has genuine chrome bmw wheel trims, now ive never seen them before
i keep seeing it parked up in town but there is always old people sat in it

Drive the iS for a bit before you decide you want more power. My touring still puts a smile on my face (when it works
). M50 all the way after that, don't bother with those 12v relics

I think M20s sound better, but to be honest I wouldn't buy a car just to listen to it.

would have to be m50
i would go m30 as it looks easier to do but the fuel consumption will be around 20mpg

well the 325 was always going to be the better option over the m42... sell it on and buy a 325!
