Copied & pasted this from the PPC forum to gauge interest on here and the thought of possibly having a zone stand there like at the pod?
What do folks think?
Saturday May 23rd 2009
Mallory Park
PPC in the Park is Europe’s most exciting new event for car enthusiasts. No other show combines non-stop live action on the track, some of the most amazing cars ever built on display in the paddock, and the chance to see PPC’s very own 27-litre V12 Rover and turbocharged Rolls Royce track-day car in action.
You can become part of the action by booking track time for you and your car at just £12.50 per session (booked in advance). You can also watch the PPC £999 Challenge contestants battling it out to become the 2009 champion in the fastest car you can build for less than £1000.
Slightly more expensive is the Dakota jet-powered truck which will be firing up its monster engine with afterburner. Then there’s PPC feature cars, the PPC team and their cars (including editor Will Holman’s 5-litre V8 Capri). And PPC’s technical guru, Dave Walker, will be holding a live Walker’s Workshop demonstration.
To top it all we’ll be having a few shandys in the evening with a marquee and bar - so bring your tent because camping’s completely free. PPC in the Park is 2009’s must-attend event.

Sounds like a giggle, and a good opportunity to boost the E30s profile a bit.
Surely we could be in with a shout on the £1k challenge?

This is only a couple of weeks before the Billing Councildrome meet, but it would be good to get all the wrong'uns together for a lash up.
I think those that are interested in going on track need to make contact with the organisers quickly as track time was getting booked up very quickly, may even be sold out by now.

I can't wait!
I think it's going to be a highly entertaining weekend.
Not sure if I'll be taking the E30 though, it's a long way from me and 15mpg if I'm lucky!

saturday night.
I've not seen any details of what the saturday night entertainment is, but I'm looking forward to finding out!

Well my E30 still isn't running (
) so I'm going up there in my mate's Peugeot 306 (
), so I doubt any of you will recognise me, but five hours sleep to go and I'm on my way!
