me too! never knew about that... what size bolt is it? how is the quality of the welds? any 'bumps' to take care of with a dremel?

yea i did see that but the hottuning manifolds seem to be getting better if i'm not mistaken. the manifold tubes [sorry don't know what they're called] are joined in less places by the looks of the pic's in this thread which means less weld's to worry about and better performance? i could be talking out of my bottom tho as i don't know much about mechanics and this is all stuff i'm picking up from reading other threads!!

yer thats thoerticly corect and there called headers, in my and many others view they are the 2nd best to btb2 manifold, awsome sound etc

i think i'm gonna get my bimmer back on the road and get it dyno'd stock. then fit it and get it dyno'd again. if it's no good then i'll move it on!

No probs about the damaged box (down to the couriers anyway) - main thing was the contents were fine. Yes the bolt hole has a fine thread and I don't have anything that fits. Could you send me a bolt for it please?

An old lambda sensor will fill the hole, or even a spark plug.

yer and if you get the car to running temp hold the car at 5k for i think 30 secs 45 secs once you have tyrnt it off and its cooled down it will go blue/gold/purple
