Im going to buy a press from fleabay but I dont know whether to go for a 6 or 12 tonne, I suspect 6 should be enough for bushes and wheel bearings etc

Any ideas?

if the price difference is very little then go for the 12.

My old man has a 10 tonne press and I think the gauge never went over about 5 tonne when we were doing rear bushes, but you never know when you may need that little bit more, but if the price difference is massive then just get the 6 tonne

I had to take my rear beam to the local bus garage (my wife works there!) to get my bushes pressed home.Took 5 tonnes of pressure. But as said above... winkeye

It may be crude, but it's easily repairable if it goes wrong!
