Chaps

I recently bought an E21 320 Baur which has a broken engine - bearing at the bottom end I think, not run for 4 years and is ready to lift out. The car came with another engine supposedly serviceable when removed from donor, but has been sitting in a barn for about 4 years. The engines both have auto flywheels and torque converters which are a nice red rusty colour.

I suspect the Baur will gain an M50 or similar when I get to it, so these engines are surplus to requirements.

Does anyone have any conceivable use for a carby 320 engine complete/in bits other than to anchor a boat with?

Head castings may be of use if they are not cracked or corroded.Blocks would only be of use to someone doing a high quality 2.7/8 and wanting to have them bored out.Try sticking them in the parts for sale, with a photo.

I'll get down to the workshop tomorrow and try to work out what the castings are, get some pics etc. I also have 4x 15" BBS with caps and removal tool, and a pile of other bits I need pics of. Must motivate self to post in for sale section!
