Hello

New here, will introduce my project here.
Been busy on it since february.

The chassis was rusted on the know places (front jacking points and rear "don't know the name")

Will post some pictures of the main steps i have done, the rest of the pictures you can find here: http://e30.be/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12& ... &sk=t&sd=a

I was having a look at your thread on the other site. Very impressive work. You've taken your time and rebuilt the car properly.
Keep us posted.

Yes, m10 is going back in.
I'm gonna save this one. Keep the original color.
Got an mtech 1 kit for it, mtech steering wheel is also in it.

Going to lower it a bit, get some nice wheels. Just make it a car to do meetings
and to have fun in the weekends :)

great work, will look good, especially doing all the important bits and not bodging it.... just out of interest, i noticed the m10 has a screw on oil filter and a housing to fit to the block, could or would this fit an m40 block?....
any help would be appreciated....

The new exhaust arrived yesterday :)
I think i'm going to put some end tips on the muffler cause the one smal pipe is gonna
look a little lonely under the mtech skirt :)

Today i remounted the engine in the chassis, wasn't as easy as taking it out, but it's in :)

The jack is still under the gearbox because i forgot to order the rubber blocks to mount it :x

Engine is finished, only thing i still got to do is refit the vacume hoses.
But i don't remember how they have to go on, so tips are welcome.

Awesome. Would love to do that one day. Take my car into a garage, remove the engine... and clean it up soo well and sort everything out right, and then put back in! God knows what would happen if i did that.

Maybe onday if a nice car pops up i might.
