I'll come along to this, I drive past the building to the test track at least once a week! Hopefully the 330 will be done by then, otherwise might go for lowest power of the day in the landrover!

****Please read****

****If i could ask you please to organise the cars into groups of 4, one group per hour starting at 10am.If you could also please remind everyone that the Security people are having a clampdown (its an ex MOD site) on people speeding on site. So please can everyone keep speeds down and no donuts in the car park! If they see anything they do not like they will kick that person off the site, and i will get it in the neck!
Got there at 8.50. No one there.
Owner turned up at 9.45
On the rollers by 10:00.
Gone by 10.20.
No one else turned up. No VR6's No E30s. Even when I was leaving right out to the M25 I didnt see anything

Estimated Flywheel figures where 189BHP and 150ft/lb Pretty much what I expected for a stock 215 with a Milltek.

Me and simon13 turned up at about 1pm, wilson was there with his M50'd tech2 sport, plenty of skyline's there, a few golfs.
I got 182.4bhp and 187lbft on a STOCK 325i with just a BTB2 and scorpion!
Who says low comp B25's dont ake the power!
Oh and after that i went to Sal's and got 185.7bhp and 190lbft!
Charts to follow.

where did the rest of the power go??189BHP and 150ft/lb
Even barry's standard 325, with btb got 185 and more talk....
Over the last 20 years. 26 BHP and 20 lb/ft have escaped. Fuellings OK BHP line is pretty linear. Theres nothing fundamentally wrong with the car and it still does a GPS confimred 140 which is only 6 mph down on brand new.
E30 M3s are NOT about power and torque. Which is why you have to really want one to live with the cars relative downsides

Wow that was early, the japcrap crew were messing about and we left a bit late, we got there about 11.30am. they were following me then they started racing each other then they went past the turn of then i had to catch up and get them back in line and turn around etc etc etc (boody quick animals). but by 2pm there were plenty of cars.Rich_W wrote:Got there at 8.50. Hmm... I've dyno'd plenty in my time and they are always pretty close to factory figures, no matter how old or how many miles. If they are down, usually something is wrong lurking in the background.....Rich_W wrote:Over the last 20 years. 26 BHP and 20 lb/ft have escaped. Fuellings OK BHP line is pretty linear. I'd do a compression test/leak down test and check all is well there, even with 8 tweaked exhaust valves, they will seem to run well. And another dyno run with the spark lines being watched closely during the run.
But that said and done, if you're happy with the power output, then alls well.
E30 M3 Unichip Alpha N style conversions, this is the ultimate for extracting the best out of your S14 M power car.
