Fitting buckets

Whats the price difference. For anyone who hasn't already bought their harnesses yet, they may as well pay the few extra quid(guessing here) to get the safer belt. Also agree with you alan, I think anything over than a huge frontal impact a 4 bolt would be better than a stock belt. A huge frontal impact is likely to be game over in anything less than a properly caged and prepped car anyway!
it's all nice to talk about. But I am rather on the safe side. I don't want to be in the position to have to say AFTERWARDS "why didn't I fit......."
Better save than sorry. It all is fine till something happens. We all are no automotive test engineers (well some here may well be) and do only THINK that a configuration or assembly is up to the job. But do you really know for sure? I had the opportunity to be involved in a few developments concerning seat brackets (converting large vans into passenger cars to avoid lorry driving restrictions in Germany) and the results we where seeing when the TUV pulled our "designs" to pices on the test rigs have been an eye opener. Never take it too easy......

I don not want to argue with you. You keep going what you feel is safe and I do the same. In the end if nothing happens to us we are all fine.

It's just when you see a car bouincing from left to right between the Armco like a ball on a pool table, you just wish that nothing happens to the driver/passenger. It's an frightening experience.
