Hey, well to give you an idea, I still havent finished mine, but all the bits I have bought so far run like this, bearing in mind I got alot 2nd hand

M20 2.5 Engine minus head £250
M20 885 Head, Welded water ways £400
Cat Cams Turbo Cam £270 (rough)
Cat Cams Vernier Pully £98 (rough)
440cc Injectors £150 s/h
Spec 6puc clutch £250 s/h
800 Intercooler £50 s/h
T70 Turbo £130 s/h
Turbo Manifold £150 s/h
ARP Bolts £not sure yet!
Megasquirt £120

Thats £1800ish just of the main big parts, not to forget all the machining work I have had done, I have had to buy also

Headgasket Set
Piston Rings
Engine Mounts
Gearbox Mounts
Bigger Oil Cooler
Walbro Fuel Pump
New Fuel Filter
New Pressure Regulator

Luckily (with alot of cursing) I can build it myself, but the tuning side of things and electrics I cant, so it is booked in with a specialist to do that.....

Im not sure on the tuning side of things how much it costs but i reckon with the work that will need doing im looking at around £1500

Hope it helps

240pounds will buy you a turbo you can chuck in the boot,.
What do you need pricing in really?

you don´t NEED new bearings or clutch or this and that,

you DO need

turbo
exhaust manifold / turbo adapter
downpipe - exhaust
wastegate
charge pipes
way to control fuel and ignition
oil feed - oil return from the turbo
With great challenges comes great engineering.

why dont you buy a saab 2.3 turbo engine and omega manual gearbox all in for about £600, no messing about with manifolds, pistons, head gaskets, stand alone ecu"s so much money for not much reliabilaty and then pay a mint to get it set up, cant see the point in spending thousands of £s on modding a none turbo engine when you can buy a proper turbo engine for just a couple of hundred (no insults intended to the guys turboing there engines just seems a heck of a lot of money).
