My cousin owns the production company that made that film - Warp Films (part of Warp Records - Warp stands for We Are Reasonable People - he was screwed over as a kid by a record company when he was in a band). Great film, he was pretty proud of it.

MINT FILM, SOUNDTRACK AND CAR'S! seen it few times and never get bored of it, in the same categorie as, lock stock, snatch, long good friday and get carter etc. Has anyone seen that cheap crappy film jude law did in 1993 called "SHOPPING", there's a few E30's in that, the scene where they nick the E30 cabby and take a chase is funny as fuck, the plot and cast are shite, but the car action's decent

Thats kinda what I mean,it wasn't heavily promoted, but is one of those films that will be an appreciating classic, the nasty underbelly of South Wales.

Another film with some good E30 moments is Shopping with Jude Law,a good chase scene with him driving a stolen Convertible, possibly a 325,been a long time since I watched.
Also,IIRC several of them get minced at the end of the film after they lose control of an E30 and smash it up.

They stole 2 car's to do a Ram raid, a sierra and an E30 [looked like 316/318], 1 to Ram and 1 to escape, but then the police surround them and they crashed both and mangle themselves into the dash and screen, 2 people in each car, if I remember rightly [been 3 years since saw it], nevermind the anorak details anyway [had a Roy Cropper moment then, lol] It was good entertainment for such low-budget, and showed Jude law as the sh!te actor he is, lol
