Hi Chaps,
Just purchased a used heckspoiler to fit onto my white e30 - The spoiler is currently black, and my questions are as follows:
For authenticity, do I respray it black or white?
What is the best process for spraying it, what primer/paint/laquer etc?
How easy are these to fit - do they utilise simple adhesive or do I need to crack open the drill (Please say it's not the latter!!)
Your help, would be much appreciated!!!
Kindest regards,
Al

if nothing else is black then do it white, both combinations were used, you need to drill wholes and a primer for rubber

pnd - thats what I thought! Would also save the hassle/cost of getting it sprayed.
Don't like the idea of drilling through my lovely boot lid though - Will maybe look at adhesive options.

Black would look better, matches the bumper trims etc. better.
Not in E30s any more

black looks better on a chromie,
go by the ruel if your wing mirrors are black that needs to be black if there white then the spoiler needs to be white

No white wing mirrors on my car - Liked the reasoning from Alex - think that i'll go for black.
Any hints on fitting??? Anyone on here done this before?
