Seemed like such a good deal i had to get in touch...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0301739557

got a email back saying...

Dear bmw_325i_sport,

Hello,

You have contacted me for my 2001 BMW Z3 1.9 2dr Roadster - 110301739557 that I have for sale at £2,950 on ebay. At this moment the car is stored in London and it could be shipped to any address in United Kingdom on my expense. If you will decide to have the vehicle delivered to your address I will pay the shipping and you will have it delivered straight to your door in no time. It is HPI clear, accident free and has been always garaged and meticulously maintained, also it will come with a MOT and Road Tax till 06/2009. It never been involved in accidents, also it will come with a full service history. I am working for Hilton Hotel and I have started a new contract for two years in Madrid, Spain and I am forced to handle the transaction from here. The transaction will be done through eBay and they will assist and help us during the transaction.

If you are interested to purchase it please email me back with your full name and the delivery address so we can initiate the transaction. I will forward your details to eBay and they should contact us with all the details we need to complete the transaction in a safety way!

Regards,

Michelle Gilroy

I then just had to message him back....

Dear michellesusie,

what a coincidence! i am staying at the hilton in spain this weekend! forget going through ebay. i'll give you cash when i see you. would you like sterling euros or monopoly? you seem oh so trustworthy! i think the car is a little under priced, so can i offer you more?

i contemplated the idea of it but then decided i couldnt be bothered. if out of 100 people 99 realise it is a scam but that one unlucky sod gives money, they've made it worthwhile. i had a customer who was willing to spend approx £12,500 on a CLK350 to someone apparently living in Czech Republic. when i persuaded his dad it was a fake. the son actually got all arsy that i wee'd on his bonfire!

I remember this nearly happening to me once.

I saw an advert on Ebay for a 54 Reg BMW E46 M3 in black, with full leather, 56k miles, and it looked absolutely minted in the pictures.
The price stated was £4,000!!!!
So I called up the woman, who was Polish, all the way in Poland, and she said that the car is in Poland at the moment and she wanted to do go through Ebay payment.
So I said, why don't I make my own way over there and give to cash and drive it back, more convenient for us both, but she refused. I wonder why.

Also, why was the car on UK plates and over in Poland, and why so cheap, and why only internet deals, was way too bate lmao!!!

if it were true, a facelift z3 at that price is ideal for the missus, and if someone's missus is an exhaust pipe only, then a car that is definately worth investing in for profit. not so faggoty if you're making a grand or even grand n a half is it? lol
