hey i ave a 325i sport my diff wrecked its self a month or so ago. There is a man offerd me a diff he said it has a specialpin which locks ands stays locked. I also see boys with 40% lock so which would be the better buy i want to do little driftin ect road ends :mad:

Does he mean a Z3M diff as they are Torsen diff?

Or is it welded? :?

its a standard slip diff and he makes these pins

makes the pin's or weld's in bolts...
doesn't make sense how he'd fit in pin's really!!!!!!!

id guess welding anything gives it 100% lock up.

You mean he welds a plate in it? Sounds shit. Don't Quaife make performance diffs?

100% welded solid seems to be favoured by the drifters. if your diffs fooked anyway cant you just weld that up?
