They are staright forward to change, like jhonno says if you can change a clutch. If the engine is out of the car its straight forward un bolt your clutch and your old flywheel and this goes in its place 6 bolts i think hold it on. You cant even put it on wrong as there is a locator hole thats slightly bigger than the rest. Even if the engine is in the car its just as straight forward. We can ask our mechanic friend how much he'll charge to change a flywheel if anyone doesn't fancy doing it.

Depends on how many people we get to but them. Once all the orders are placed we will collect a deposit so they can be put in to manufacture. I will go and see them tomorrw and find out how quickly they can do them

As long as there is interest in them we will do our best to find buyers to make it as cheap as possible for the zoners, if not we can get hold of the odd one or two but they would be a little more expensive.

apparently m42 flywheel shouldn't be a problem, just need to drop down an original for them to do drawings and get them into production. How many people we got now then? Reached that magic number yet?

If De La Soul were right then "3 is the magic number!" 8)

But for the purposes of this, then no, were way off. Don't think we'll find another 7 but 2 more might happen.

Otherwise I'll just get mine machined :(

I'd like an M42 one, but possibly next month. Doubtful i could get an original to you for you, but maybe i can. I'm hopefully gettin my m42 engine in a few weeks and i'm gonna be gettin some stuff before its dropped in. May be able to send you my flywheel to put them into production?? But other than that i'll have to wait a bit longer...:(

NayC - the M42 flywheel is dual mass, many people over the years have lightened it by using the stock M20 version instead.

They will be ready within 2 weeks, prefer not to do pay pal as fees but if you do pay pal payment as a gift then no fees! winkeye

We will close this after this weekend so any last minute takers then go for it.

If we are stuck at 4 then will do it for the price of 5 and we will buy the last one.

As far as the race one is concerned, i can get that one for the same price as the others but you do know that it is designed solely for a paddle clutch? Please confirm before i order monday.

As for the others, can we take deposits next week please as we don't want a large bill for a lot of flywheels people say they want and then decide they don't!

Thanks, return to you sunday evening/monday morning!

I know this, but it requires a new clutch from either 320 or 325 as well doesn't it? also a bearing from the E28(?) 323i. Could do this but wouldn't want the extra hassle.

I'll take a 4.5 one to make things simpler.

Can I pay a deposit over the phone?
Also can I collect mine. I'm only in Essex and I've been meaning to have a nose round your place for a while.
