Great pics. How much did the conversion project cost you? It looks like it was done very professionally.

I love this! Never seen M3 bumpers mated up to standard wings. It works really well. Wonder if this could be done with a road car. winkeye

Excellent work, liking the red/white thing you got going on, wheels look the business too! Interesting to see an E36 inlet manifold on an E30 M42.
Not in E30s any more :(

I think you might be right, the front pulley setup looks different from the E30 model, which is odd as I was always under the impression that the E36 pulleys would foul the E30 dipstick.

Million thanks for all the comments ... You guys're really encouraging.

The wheels on my "Aladdin" was a standard E32 7 Series
Many of my friends ask me to change to this set of wheels ....

Image

A BMW series 7 E38 M3 look-a-like 16x8 wheels. What do you think?
as a matter of a fact, I already have it on just now ... Awesome ...

FYI.

The engine conversion/upgrade project was from an orignal 318i M40 to this Japanese Market M42
(could possibly be in a E36/Compact or in a late model E30, not so sure as well)

Thanks for the inputs.

They look like Rota Grid Drifts to me - http://www.potn.co.uk/rota-grid-drift_c ... _32462.htm

You can get them in a staggered setup which look quite nice :D
