Mate of mine has a proper old slag of a 316 chromie in his workshop at the moment, it's been there for months. No floor, wings are shagged, most of it is utterly knackered but the owner has given him instructions to "Get that thing through an MOT as cheaply as possible. Don't worry about the cost".

Reg on it is worth about £50-60k...

Had been sat on grass for a few years before I bought it. A bit of a shame really, as even with a less than new suspension.. the mile I drove it for was pleasant, except for the damp smell and the fact the brake pedal would stay down when pressed.. needing you to hook your toes up under it to release the brakes each time. Did get a few funny looks on the way back home on the M25 with it as I towed it back with my better half's Pug 206, with her in the chromie.

Has beige sports seats too, but the driver's one has worn and been patched :?

It's off to E30 heaven this week.. although not sure there's even enough metal left to create a toaster :D

Regards,

Ian

Sold the weekend I stripped it.

Are you looking for a pre-facelift / high-compression engine fella? If so, I have one that I'll be taking out of my old touring probably on the 14th / 15th of this month. Engine's done ~130k.. but the head's only done ~1000 miles.

Drop me a PM or give me a call on 07970 731083 if you're interested :)

Regards,

Ian

Not sure yet. Mine is runnin like a dog at the mo. I'm pretty sure its cos the tank is full of sh1t and I've ordered a replacement but until its on I dont know what else is up with it. If it needs a new motor I'll probably look for one with less miles on it. Cheers anyway!
