Snyde.. The grey one is looking nice on its BBS's.

I think the best option all round is to fit full E30M3 running gear and fit the 16" BBS's from one of those. Now that looks SICK.

PS the ONLY way (imo) you can get away with E36M3 wheels is if they are genuine E36M3 forged rims, none of this snyde replica four stud tat.

Cheers mate, the grey one is actually Granite Silver and its my old Sport....the sterling was my mates old one and is actually a 318is but now has had a 2.5 dropped in by the new owner.

They always look best on the original BBS or some BBS Splitties imho 8)

cheers lads, nice standard rims look the part and would put them on in morning but live in small town and what are the chances of there being two identical and mint sports, only difference is alpina's on mine but not gone on them so might sound daft but just wanna change look a small bit to mates with either of the sets suggested,
cheers for comments and help so far lads

What about BBS 16" deep dish split rims, they look a bit different but still inkeeping with the car style.
If I can't fix it I'll f**k it up so bad nobody can!!

I know your one for making snidey comments about other peoples cars and always seem to put a downer on peoples threads.........For example when I got my sport, I posted up some pics and everyone was saying things like how much of a nice Sport it was and well done it looks really clean example........You came along and posted on my thread something along the lines of best get the tech 2 kit off and find out how much rot is lurking..........I mean ffs talk about p*ssing on somebodys chips
Ive noticed it loads of times on threads that you have posted on.....you just seem abit of a bitter person who likes to put others down imo.
Tbh I dont really care of how much i know about e30's coz I like loads of different cars....I just happen to think e30's are quite nice.

i like the two tone a lot. I think it compliments the shape of the e30 and the body kit really well.

From my own experiance the 17's really take the edge off the ride and handling. When i put a set of genuine 16" alpinas on it made a great improvement. I think the rims march109 is using look amazing with a grey/silver car.

i think its quite a period thing and i am still deciding whether to keep it or spray it.... i need to buy some paint to replace the mirrors so i may buy enough for the kit and see what happens!!

March109's car could have golden diamond studded 25inch spinners and still look good!!

Having owned a sport which was very nice and ending up with a £1000 welding bill to get it through it's MOT one year broke my bank balance and heart. Surely if think about it my comment is to warn you, so you can catch it straight away and not suffer like i have and many others. But you couldn't see that as help or advice? I know i'd be gutted if i spent 4 bags on a motor and it was rotton because i didn't check and it festered into a heap.

But there you go, i'm bitter and twisted/jealous/unhelpful you name it because you clearly know
