What he said. It's too much of a miss match for me. A retro roof rack with modern wheels and stupidly low profile tyres? As for the bonnet, as said why would you have that when the rest of the paint is totally mint? Each to their own but not my thing at all.

really like the red one on debadged turbines too.

funny how turbines look loads better on a whole range of bmws than they did on e34 m5s

You have to understand he's 'one of us' - big on the VW scene as a photographer as far as I'm aware, so the rusty bonnet and roof-rack are inspiration from that.

Cosmetic rust is gay x2. I can understand the appeal of genuine patina on some 50 yr old split-screen camper that has lived all it's life in the desert but to stick an obviously prepped bonnet on an otherwise mint car is just stupid IMO.
It's quite nice other than that, looks like a shiny old e28 with bits of motorway barrier front and back...
