Is it an interiror trim clip off a door card? Whatever it is, try the BMW parts department section on the zone.
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Looks like a clip that holds the headlights in, the ones that always break and makes you lights wobble
Call me on 07858 151 197 - leave a message if no answer as i am probably busy! Will call you back!
Please email thru the website as not always on the zone for pm's.
Thanks
Richard

Bingo.
Resorted to cablie tie and super glue earlier today but went to get them aligned and had to break that solution off!
Got a short term fix holding them in but would like the real thing now just in case

matter of pence from main dealer and usually in stock as common on a lot of BMWs.
They are a fit once item - I've never had any success at reusing them as they normally break when trying to remove from the old h/lamp.

That is the clip that is ONLY fitted to the hydraulic headlight adjuster rod. Most dealership parts guys will be unaware that each outer headlamp on a facelift E30 ( if fitted with hydraulic adjust ) needs this specific clip. They will usually palm you off with the normal shorter clips and then you will wonder why even on full adjustment your headlights are low and your car fails the mot

Looks like ill be making a trip to the dealers then, thanks for the help guys!
pacerpete, yeah you are right those are the same lights that are on my car - I wouldnt even mind but the adjuster itself is broken so have no real need for it at all! Just need to get the wobbling sorted long term.
Cheers

Im shocked by that, they charged me £18 and change for 12 at StratStone, Doncaster.... I couldn't be doing with wobbly headlamps.
Mine were the black ones with a hollow end, they said the 'other type' were nearly £2 each

Having attempted to deal with Stratstone once, I'm not surprised they ripped you off. IMO they are the very worst sort of dodgy car dealers. Sharks in Shiny Suits - not impressed.
