i read somwhere that the afm is very restrictive on the 1.8i m40, just wondering what could be done to derestrict it? or does it have to be replaced with a maf

mass air flow, i think its like the afm just less restrictive, no idea how it works :mad:

just found a more cost-effective idea than that one, its possible to do a maf diy, ive looked into it and it seems all you need a is m30 maf sensor, and a piggy back ecu, like this

then just tune it on a laptop
after that and a cam, custom exhaust, and decent intake, port polish, we should be able to take on those 2.5 boys with there six pot wrongness :lol:
