E36 328i died on way to work.

Driving to work this morning and the car died on me. The oil and battery light came on, the engine died down a bit. And the steering went heavy.

I reved the car and it was ok again.

Got to work turned car off and it started back up fine.

Any ideas what this could be.

Could be a few things, the alternator could of had a paddy, the earth straps may be on their way out, or it could of just been struggling to rev because of some crap and nearly stalling.

Sounds like it nearly stalled, mate keep an eye on it, see how it goes.

Hasnt done it since i think it may have just been fuel related. I just going to keep an eye on it.

Think ill check the earths at the weekend. The two cars your wanting are the two cars i have one of them will be up for sale after xmas. Dont know which yet tho.

Noooooo never lol.

Ideally I would like to take them to my grave after 3 months of refurbing but I will sell them with the car as it looks so cool with them on.
