325 performance heads photo's added

If it is I don't see him selling any, insulting potential clients and trying to sell heads with no figures to back up his claims. Good sales tactic there mate

not sure what you mean! but i certainly can't tell by looking, photos aren't going to convince anyone with a bit of sense that its a good port job.......the only practical tool for evaluating a port job is a flow test done before and after and even thats not always indicative.

everyone.. as iv said before we want/need flow results.. if you are thinking about buying a performance head make sure its got alpina or hartge stamped on it.. or you have proof of spurious gains.
fuck i cant wait to get this head on!!!!!!!

Alpina heads are not that special its really only the exhaust side where there are noteworthy improvements but any porter can do the same using tried and trusted techniques

As i allready said in a previous thread, the late C2 2.5 head you are buying of Nath is just a standard B25 head with a Alpina spec cam, thats if it still has its original cam!

intake side is pretty good with a couple of minor mods that can help intake flow, it´s not all about the intake either.

I talked to this guy at the Birmingham auto show, he obviously knew his stuff.
180cfm per port for a SR20@1.5bar of boost to make 650hp he said without flinching for a second when I asked him about my friends SR20.

He has the info needed at least

I have to recommend to anyone NOT to have their heads ported or in any way worked on without it being flowed. each port has to flow the same as the other ones, so you work on one to what you would call enough or whatever is required, and then the others must get the same results at all valve lifts, not just peak lift.
Also if a head porter can not show you the flow results, it´s not a good place to have it worked on
