ive mislaid my mate's 1999 e36 323i conv. service record book. he's seriously upset, thinking it will devalue the car resale enormously. can i just go to the stealers and get a computerised print-out of all its (full bmw) history and copies of the actual invoices(with his authorisation)?

if all the work was carried out at the same dealer they can replace the service book for you all stamped up

thanks "town". i'll get the service history print-out from snows (they did the same for my m3), then contact the dealers direct, try that route.

i got the summary print-out from the stealers....then found the service book in my e36! who put it there? :? my mate can breathe again  honestly, the car's only worth £2500 with fsh! there are far more serious things in life to worry about fgs!
