Barry, Do you reckon this was built at the Alpina Factory in Buchloe then shipped to Sytners in RHD form?

If it was built at Buchloe it will have a propper alpina VIN plate.

I was going to get clear for the sides as it really gives them a nice clean look but where does it end then?!
Gonna keep it all original.
I'm in the process of putting on new orange front indicators over the next week or so.

it is definitely an original Alpina heat shield, present on my B3 as well.
you can see it in the Alpina E30 parts catalog also...
