FYI IIRC it's about £90 per square metre

I used to have details of a company that supplies the stuff, but can't seem to find the bit of paper i had it written down on now

Haaaaaaow much?!

Actually, that might be for carbon fibre board, but if you wanna make things yourself, the cloth is about £27/sqm and the resin is roughly £5/sqm/ply.

Have a look at http://www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.uk/store/

The pre preg stuff needs to be done in an autoclave

The normal matting can be done in the same way as fibreglass matting

IIRC you need polyester resin for the C/F

You can bake wet lay-up CF and it improves the performance of the resins, but it's not a must.

You can use CF in either Polyester or Epoxy resin, epoxy is what the pros use as it's a much better resin system than polyester, stiffer etc.

If you're using chopped strand fibreglass matting, you must use polyester or the binder in the matting won't dissolve.

If you wanna do what I've been doing and wrap polystyrene cores in CF, you must use epoxy resin as polyester will dissolve the polystyrene! :o

But yeah, if you can use fibreglass, CF won't be a problem for you :D
