hi guys
Image

its only a 316i but its in desperate need of lowering (cant take the shame anymore)it looks like a 4x4

ive got a set of 40drop springs(cobra) and i`ve also got a set of shocks with 60drop springs(apex) but i do have some humps in my street
which ones would be better to use on 15" bbs

and is there anyone near brighton or newhaven who wants to give me a hand (cash incentive will be applied)lol
ive been looking at how to go about it and i would rather have another zoner there who`s done it before to help, and yes i have all the tools needed just in case

thanks guys

60/40 levels the car off nicely.

what do you mean you cant lower the stut? iirc theres 2 ball joints to remove then the strut will drop down once the 3 top mount bolts have been removed from the inner wing.

fronts done,

the o/s was a pain to do but the n/s was a doddle i didnt have to remove any ball joints just the caliper and the bolt attached to the arb thingy and it lowered down enough to remove and replace the spring

now im starting the backend tommorow is there anything i should watch out for and is it easier than the front

That is lowered 40/40 then?, from reading other threads people say a bigger drop on front compared to rear is needed to level the car out, but that looks good to me, if aything, the front is lower than the back.

It looks tons better.

Has anyone got pics of cars lowered 40/40 where the front looks too high?
