Hi

My OBC is showing in kilometers - how can i change it to miles??

press the consumption button, then press the small button in the bottom right with a pen to cycle between metric/imperial.

The fuel thingy displays three settings,French(litre/klm) American(MPG) and UK(M/G). On the UK setting you also get outside temp in Farinheit(sp!!) instead of Centigrade.

If it is calibrated correctly and with the correct code plug, very accurate indeed.

You should start to worry when the miles remaining gets to ----
clearly ---- means FUMES in German! :wink:

Cool,mine says 83 miles left in tank but petrol light just come on again :roll:
That combined with fluttering temp gauge and dodgy service lights is enough to convince me my si batterys are shot!
Time to replace I think :D

I heard that you could adjust how much it thought was left in the tank. Alas I am a scummer with a clock and can't go out and try it and I can't remember what happened on my old 325.

I'd say they are pretty inaccurate going on ekos example. 80 miles from 6 litres from a 2.5! 8O Thats dreamland territory.

when i had my 325i and brimmed my tank iirc it always came up with 345+. i wish my car would of done 345 miles on a full tank
