D reg engine into an F reg car?

Hi

Will a D reg 325i engine fit into F reg 325i car without any mods to it?

If not what else would need to be done to it?

You may have to change the fuel rail and maybe the ecu

Also, the throttle position sensor may be different on the throttle body - so disconnect the throttle body from the inlet manifold (less chance of leaks and throttle position will be ok!)

it will drop straight in. but the front pully, water pump, fuel rail, will need changing. probably a couple of other things too.
