as the title says, im spraying the bootlid and need to know the best way to take the bmw badge off and re-fit it

if you are sparying it anyway you can (gently) put a flathead screwdriver behind it without damaging the badge and bootlid

Use a thick piece of card or cloth and you can prize it out without scratching the paintwork!

i found a butter knife was best as the edges on it are blunt also

2 pins about 1 cm in on the horizontal pushed on with little rubber plugs for grip. If we are talking about roundles, if its the actual model number badge then i dont know

Ah right, the hairdryer method works on the model badges.
Should've realised the roundels weren't stuck on with adhesive as they're so heavy

Just been and got a new rear roundel 20 minutes ago so will be performing the swap tonight as mine is looking a little tatty. Takes 60 seconds to change them over.
I did my bonnet badge not so long ago and while it's off gave the metal work a quick T-cut, made all the difference.
