Hi guys..
Just needed to clarify something.. Just realised that the heaters dont work in the E30, as its had the M30 conversion, ive read on the sticky that a few mods need to be made to the C101 Connector,
Where it says to connect the black and green wire (pin 15) to the starter motor, Does it mean i just splice into the black and green wire and run another wire to the starter, or do i just pull the wire of the plug and extend that to the starter?????
Thanks guys!

The black and green wire can be cut from the body side of the C101 and put to the small 'spare' spade connector on the starter.
You may also find that the economy-swing-o-meter-thingy under the rev counter won't work.
To get this going on mine (from a 1989 535i donor) I cut and swapped the black & white wire of pin 3 and the black and purple wire of pin 8.
Good luck!

Cheers mate, I still haven't done this yet and was being to lazy to dig it up. Do you know if it's somehow linked to the OBC MPG calculation? as since doing my conversion the swingometer needle has always been at the side of full throttle and my OBC states I'm getting 7.1MPG!!! I'm hoping it will change with the for mentioned wiring mod.DRIFTBOY wrote: You may also find that the economy-swing-o-meter-thingy under the rev counter won't work.

Looks like we're going to have loads of 'big 6' conversions around soon.
Good luck blingsta

Sorry mate, I don't know the answer to that one, my obc never worked, and it's not there at all now.
But I would say that going by the 7.1 mpg that it must be linked, or that you drive like a complete loooony!

It can go on the small spade terminal on the solenoid, the easiest one to see by looking just under the inlet manifold.

Your obc and swingometer is out because of the larger injectors. Buy one of Steve modules at www.seattlecircuit.com it should sort it out. Its why he has made them. Mine will be tried out on my 2.7 shortly.
