Don't worry about that, you can buy a video splitter for about £15-20 from ebay that'll split the signal for upto 8 screens. I have one, just haven't wired it in yet. Be more concerned about the video inputs, as I have a reversing camera, and that means that mine will only have 1 other input, which I'm currently using for Digital TV, but if I wanted to add the PS2, then I'd have to disconnect the TV, and use that same input.
If you're more interested in audio, then make sure that you get a head-unit that has good power on the Pre-outs preferably 3V+. If you want it for multimedia, then get something that supports Divx, and has USB/SD slots, touchscreen and bluetooth, as these things will make the difference if/when it comes to selling. It'll also make life easier when you don't have to keep burning CD's.
If you're not fussed with brand names, then i'd recommend the items off ebay, I posted the links on the 1st page i think.
In the Install that i did in the past I made sure that I bought the best head-unit at the time, which I had imported from the US. I got it 4months before it was released in the UK. Despite that I still had problems with it, whereas the cheap DVD/TV player i got off ebay hasn't given me any problems, so you judge for yourself.

The cheap ones on ebay are alright my brothers got one off ebay only fing is when the screen comes out it hits the indicator arm but he pulls the arm back so the screen can come out fully. Im trying to get ahold of that orrion sub and amp but the guys being a w4aanka so il have to wait on that. gives me time to think on what else i want to do and can afford to do lol.
Oh yeah and like i was wondering when or if you you do fit these screens in the headrest can you like take them out like when you take off the headrest from the seat will there be a plug that attaches to the tv? that you can unplug and take the screen and headrest off for safe keeping cus there are alot of theifs about??
You're better off cutting the indicator stalk or try and get a lhd center piece for the dash so the clock/OBC and stereo are swapped over, so the screen clears it, as it'll end up damaging the head-unit if it catches anything even slightly. You have to bare in mind that the motors used to open the screen aren't designed to face resistance, and that's what ends up damaging most of the DVD players.
The headrest will have 2 wires, a power wire and a video feed. You disconnect them, and the head-rests come out so they are pretty simple in that sense.

Hmm thats all good then didnt want them left in the car with all these hungry c8nts looking to raise anything they can get. im having problems with my wiring well i connected a headunit up to my car and only one speakers working and had time to check wheres its messing up from any ideas? there are other speakers in the car.
Someone's probably beein at it before you and cut the wires somewhere. Or it could just be the fader (i.e. front/back and left/right) settings on your head-unit.
If it's the wiring, I'd say just take a new wire from the head-unit to all the speakers to ensure a good connection.

Hmmm Raf this is what i brought.
Two Orion H2 subwoofers 2,000 watt RMS dual 2 Ohm subwoofers.
Powering each one of these to its absolute max is two Orion 5000D mono amplifiers, 2,500 watt RMS at 1 ohm.
Two 8002 2 channel amplifiers, 400 watt RMS per channel.
Directed 20 farad power capacitor.

Now all i need is Zero gauge wiring and a battery any suggestions?

Into the cab its f***n costly man. Added all up to 2500 but i got it for a bargain price. Not going to stickk all of this into the cab i might but then im to minded want to make it a one off but the guy i brought the system off goes just one amp for the sub and one for the dpeakers will rock the living life out of the cab and two god knows the outcome, Whgat do you think? What should i put in?
Hmm what if i face the subwoofer towards the inside of the cabin? the battery is in the front under the bonnet. im thinking of running 6x9's in the rear seats but the gap where the speakers are, aint big enuff for the speakers, and what if i put them in a 15'' box? would it help?
I suggest dynamatting ALL bare metal you can get to in the boot.
Not sure what you mean about putting in 15" box....what do you want to put in a 15" box? The subs are 12" aren't they?

yh there 12'' thy wont fit in a 15'' will they? Hmmmm was thinking f dynomatting the whole of it. Wheres the best place to get dyno matts from? and the zero gauge wiring wheres the best place to stick it all under i was thinking of taking the interior out as it needs a clean and the carpet and lying it under the carpet?
The subs need to go into a box designed for their spec. You should be able to get the spec from their website.
Interior will need to come out to do the install properly, and best to keep the cable as straight as possible down the centre of the car so you don't have to use loads of cable.
Dynamat is pricey here but well worth it, when i was planning a big ICE build i was going to go to Valencia and buy all my Ice stuff from there as it would've cost about a third of the cost, but unless you're willing to travel round europe then you're probably going to have to just shop around till you find the cheapest price. Try and got for Dynamat Extreme as that's the most effective.
