That's got nothing to do with him...that's down to crude oil price going down, and ultimately suppliers lowering forecourt prices. I can't recall any cuts in fuel duty???

Made a very poor attempt at recording the exhaust note.
I know it's crap, think i need someone else to record whilst i'm driving...would help if i switch the bass off in the background aswell
It's only the last few seconds where the exhaust 'STARTS' to kick in...you get a bit of a bark low down, and when you're over 3500rpm then it starts to sing.

Todays mod...
Seen as i was going to have the rocked off anyway, thought i'd smarten it up a bit....went okay till i attempted to flat the raised sections by hand. Ended up flatting around the edges slightly, I had a sander, and should've used that for all of it, but hey, first time i sprayed one of these, so live and learn.
I'll put another coat over the top again tomorrow (masking off the raised section).
Primer

First coat of Gloss Black

2nd coat of gloss black

Having flatted the raised sections

Finished article.

I replaced it with the SE spoiler as I was going to fit the tech 2 kit, but never got round to it.

Dont' know, but i've seen a few IS's that don't have the IS lip. There's a very good condition blue IS 1 street away from me, and that doesn't have an IS lip.Alex wrote:aceraf wrote:Alot of them didn't come with an IS lip!Alex wrote: no lol on mine somehow mines been ripped or taken off and someone put an se spoiler on itreally ?? how come, from what ive read they came as standard with sports seats tech 1 wheel etc

Well, even though the car will be for sale soon, the toys don't stop coming...
my latest addition is a full black leather interior, purchased for a very good price
and in much better condition that i'd thought from the pics i'd seen off them.
Got them home, and gave them a good clean and condition with Gliptone products (awesome stuff by the way!).
The pics aren't great as i'd just applied the conditioner when i took them so it shows in some of the pics.
The front are very good apart from the piping being slight cracked and the rears have a few scratches in them, but they're not too bad. The pics make them look worse than they are as the flash pics up all the creases in the leather and makes them look white.

They're the new flat style wipers, they are alot better than normal one's as there is constant contact with the windscreen so they wipe smear free.aj_mckay wrote:Ace, what are those wipers like on the E30? The ones on your touring... Recommend them?
However you can get some that are too stiff and straight and that means that the passenger side wiper won't make contact with the windscreen on the very edge of the screen (near the tax disc) but is fine for the rest of the screen.
If you apply some RainX to the windscreen then it will help alot and mean that you only need a single wipe to get a perfectly clean screen.
