   I actually wanted to get a E28 instead of an E30 but insurance was too much.

I wondered, I have a similar picture to that rolling round on my desktop wallpapers  I was there that day but in my 530i sport touring E39.

That e28 is absolutely lovely,.

I actually prefer the way they drive (and look) to e30 - slower, yes (apart from 535's), but more poise and they just look very cool.

very nice indeed.

are they the 8 series alloys? just fitted a set to a e28 at bbb, looks great, not as nice as that one tho.

My first bmw was a e28 528i, I was a very happy 23yr old! Well until I paid through the nose for having it, I then downsized to a e30 and found that more of a drivers car, e28 was as comfy and great at high speed cruizing, armrest and cruise control are something I really miss.

The wheels did come off an 8 series, and unfortunately were 9's on the back so it scrubbed like hell. On the upside it did look like a steam roller from behind :D :D
I was gutted when i sold it but went out the same day and bought another car to make myself feel better. I'll put pics of that up soon once the new stretched tyres are on 8)

The more I see of these the more I like them - the older the BM the better, am I going the right way ?

Very nice old 5's, love the old deep dish BBS's - wish I would have seen the D reg as Heald Green is only down the road - where is it now ?
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

We have a set of those wheels on our e28. The car itself is in the process of modernisation! We had the choice between momo arrows that were 8 1/4 j all round or the more old school retro 8 series wheels i have to sday it wasn't much of a decision.
Call me on 07858 151 197 - leave a message if no answer as i am probably busy! Will call you back!
Please email thru the website as not always on the zone for pm's.
Thanks
