e30 engine swap

hey people, i just got a e30 320i, i'm gonna be doin an engine swap was thinking with a 530 or 535, and is wandering wot sort of problems may occur,,,, with fitting , engine mounts ect, its my 1st one. replys would be much helps thanx

your best bet is to set an evening aside and search the posts for M30 (6 cylinder 535i engine) or 335i and have a good read up on it. it's straightforward enough and a lot of folks have asked the exact same question as you before so the answers will be here in full detail.

Forget the 3 litre though - exactly the same work as the 3.5, so a bit pointless.
