They are different systems mate as you will see people selling both 316i exhuasts and 318i exhuasts.

i have just fitted a brand new ernst centre box on my 318 it had a sticker on it stating 316 touring it was no different to any other system i have fitted it had the gen bmw part no on it and was the only one they made
i put it down to the extra long label it would need if they described every e30 variant 316 to 318 touring cab saloon etc

mine was a perfect fit and would the extra 200cc in engine capacity make that much difference

GSF list the same front pipe but different rear sections,Josh.(bet it's the back box you need!!)

i would have thought that because its the same engine (aside from the obvious difference) the exaust system would be the same at any rate everything on my 318i touring looks like it did in my 316i coupe

It's just the back part thats different not the front end. we are guessing Josh has got a nice back box but it's from a 316i

well a guy on here offerd me a 316i touring backbox but i wasnt shaw if it would fit :(

I think it should fit, the Scorpion I had fitted my 316i perfectly and I don't recall it being any different to the standard back box on my 318i
