Totally standard, apart from a Full Magnex system, manifold and all.

Andy, one of these days I might actually get to see your car!. And you live about 20mins from me!.
Peejay, did you buy your car from the magazine feature. Dr Fred Umeh wanted Ԛ£7250.
I used the article on your motorsport (buying guide) when I bought mine.
You have considerably changed/modified the car in the article then!.
Photo's please(having just read another thread).
Cheers Gareth.

Yes Gareth thats my car, Fred was returning home to get married and needed all the money he could get to finance the event. So I donated Ԛ£6.8k to the happy occasion and he left his real love of his life with me!!gazza325cab wrote:Andy, one of these days I might actually get to see your car!. i wish you all the best , glad to see someone who cherishes an original motorsport cheers mate!!motorsport wrote:E30geezer, yeah i just decided to totally strip/clean/paint/replace whatever is needed to get it looking as new again. Probably take a good many months of spare time & money but i'm really enjoying doing this as it's the next best thing to uncovering an new/unsold motorsport in the back of a dealers. The interior is first on the agenda with the rear seats/headrests/doorcards now complete. It's not currently bad in any way and with a clean/polish it still looks really nice, just me going a bit OTT, but as i'm keeping it i've decided to spend some decent money on getting it as good/standard as i can. These cars are 14 yrs old now and unfortunately they will show ageing somewhere. e.g my rear arches need sorting and the front valance is stonechipped with a few stonechips on the bonnet too. As i then need to paint valance/bonnet/rear arches i've decided to have a full dealer respray instead. I'll keep a full dossier with all receipts of work/parts.
Gazza, obviously won't make the meet neither, just decided the time was right to get started on my motor.
Andy

ha, ha, wicked mate that's very true ugly people seem to have more money as they don't get tasty birds!!M5pilot wrote:My personal view on motorsport cabs is that they should be left standard. Theres nothing wrong with small cosmetic touches like clear indicators or slight upgrades to the suspension.
Motorsport cabs aint about going super fast or going sideways, its all about the overall enjoyment factor.
One question though...........why is it all the ugly people have cabs?
