Hi to all.
Could anyone point me in the direction of this turbo being good enough for my m30 or am i barking up the wrong tree.I'm a newbie to turbocharging and would appreciate the advice.

I'm no expert, but at that price i can't see it being upto the job. Doesn't it also say it's suitable for 4cyl cars?

I was thinking of going for a low boost turbo, so as not to stress out the engine too much.I know what your thinking, if your going to do it, do it once.

Get this one instead it´s alot better and will easily sort you with instant spool and plenty of power potential.

Not bad for the price, but has a reserve, so any idea what it should go for.
I take it it has an integ waste blow valve? :cool:

No, but you should be looking for T4 frame turbos or at least very late model T3 style (holset HX35 and similar)
Those will simply allow your engine to breathe while beeing under boost (i.e less backpressure) and thus more power for less boost.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

the reserve wontbe that high mate, i only paid £125 for my holset hx40, thats good for around 600hp.
for the price you wont find better than holset. :)

Ok , tahts sounds good, will be bidding on that then.
Next question is about the manifold, have any of you done a m30 conversion ewith turbo, and where did you get hold of one?
Intercooler is already purchased to fit below the rad and most of the pipework can be made. :cool:

TCD has the only RHD top mount M30 manifold around that isn´t to expensive
