hello all.. im new..
came across this in Wigan few years ago, and was very lucky enough to buy it..
here are a few pics, when i first saw it and now..
thinkin about selling her in a few weeks.. anybody interested?? what do you think??

What an amazing transformation too from when you first got it! It's a credit to you! I have the magazine infront of me now!

im gonna make my mind up over the next couple of weeks or so..
wanted to keep her original but didnt want to put the silver stripes on... the colour ones are way better..

Great looking car - read about it in the magazine feature! Didn't think I'd seen or heard of it on here before so welcome to the Zone! If it were my car I'd be hanging onto it unless it owed me some serious dough!

sorry mate no dis-respect, but when you 1st bought it, was it actually a alpina, cos cant see nothing that shows its an alpina, apart from the wheels.
But the it does look sweeet now tho...

alright mate..
yeh did my homework before i bought it.. the only things missin was the Alpina front spoiler the C1 2.3 badges and the exhaust system.. they put a standard 2.3 one on it.. which was like a bloody pee shooter haha..
it had the Alpina engine, alloy wheels, gear knob, steering wheel, LSD, dials, plaque i also contacted Ged at Nottingham sytner to confirm it was gen.

nice car, read the article but did it get an mot with the handbrake errection?!
1 of 50 or so i believe built and ALOT are no longer with us

i know.. been lookin for others over the last 3 years.. theres another gut whos got onenear Hull thats havin loads of work done.. and the odd couple non runners that pop up that are bein pulled to bits..
haha yeh.. she sailed through last MOT no dramas.. does it look high??

hey, where did you get your stripes made up i have number 11 (from the alpina plate on the dash) needs full rebuild but its been on my drive fro about 4yrs under a cover will have to start it one day Well hubby will anyway
Unless anyone makes a sensible offer?

got the stripes from some German bloke that was sellin pin stripes on ebay.. just asked him and he did me that set..

went to the shop today to get this mag and didnt relise it was last months issue so baught this months (dont look as good)
will send off for last months tho looks like it was an intersting read

thanks alot.. yeh he did a fantastic write up. Its a good story too.. with a twist of fate haha..
The first couple of pics are of when i first saw the car.. AT the time it wasnt for sale but i knew one day she will be mine haha.. It wasnt till a year later that i switched on a old phone by chance and got a message from the old couple driving the C1 sayin that it was now up for sale and am i still interested.
